About Me

"Once I was blind, but now I see." (John Newton). This is my testimony as was aptly penned by the man of GOD, John Newton. "Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now am found; was blind but now I see."

"I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore; Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more. But the MASTER of the sea (the LORD JESUS) heard my despairing cry. From the waters lifted me; now safe am I." (Howard Smith/James Rowe).

"For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON (JESUS CHRIST), that whosoever believeth in HIM (the LORD JESUS) should not perish, but have everlasting life. For GOD sent not HIS SON into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through HIM might be saved." (John 3:16-17).

My Alma Mater

I have to give the LORD GOD, FATHER in heaven, all the credit, all the glory, for having me go to this excellent university, i.e. (that is) BJU - Bob Jones University (click on the name to go to BJU web site).  It was and continues to be GOD's amazing and undeserved grace in CHRIST JESUS that gives me all these tender mercies - the miracle of attending the best college; meeting the most godly people; and the gracious mercies to continue (as the bruised reed - Isaiah 42:3, "A bruised reed shall HE not break, and the smoking flax shall HE not quench: HE shall bring forth judgment into truth." There at BJU, I met Tom Pennington , who was our hall monitor during my freshman year (1982-1986), and presently the pastor of Countryside Bible Church. And I attended Dr. Mark Minnick's Mount Calvary Baptist Church - which was pastored before by the late pastor Jesse Boyd.

Yours Truly

The blessed LORD GOD's grace to/for this person (yours truly - me) started from even before time began - "For whom HE did foreknow, HE also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of HIS SON, that HE might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them HE also called: and whom HE called, them HE also justified: and whom HE justified, then HE also glorified." (Romans 8:29-30).

As far as I can remember, it was when I was in my early years as a boy, when a missionary group came at our place there in the Philippines, and they were showing an evangelistic movie from a truck, and were giving out free hot milk. So, yours truly was one of the kids who sat down and watched the movie, not knowing what it was all about, nor did I understand, nor did I care. Although I did take the hot milk.

The next "big" event was when we (me and a bunch of neighborhood kids were playing this game where the one was "it" had to count to one hundred then we hide, and the one who was "it" had to come looking for us. I remember climbing up a tree, and as I was almost at the top, I slipped and fell. But somehow (and by GOD's protection and my pre-salvation life in CHRIST JESUS) I didn't get hurt - didn't break anything - as if the LORD sent HIS angel to stop my fall. I was large limb caught my fall.

The next major event in yours truly's life was in 1971. It was this year that we left for the United States. (Looking at it from hind sight, the blessed LORD GOD moved heaven and earth to accomplish HIS purpose in my life - and this was one of them). It was here in the USA that I was told of the gospel of  our LORD JESUS CHRIST - in the military. 1974, I finished High School, and in 1976, I joined the military. It was here that the LORD's amazing grace reached out and took a hold of this helpless sinner, slave to sin and Satan. It was here that I messed up my life for the worst. It was here that I got into hanging out with the wrong crowd. What the Bible says about every unbeliever being "of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do." (John 8:44a) is true. I was a sinner and acting like it; and the people I went with weren't helping remedy it. I started developing bad attitudes. But here was where the LORD GOD started working in my life too. You see, they have the Navigator's ministry there at that base where airmen like myself who were believers/followers of the LORD JESUS go out regularly and share the gospel to other airmen in the base. And I "happen" to be one of them. To make the long story short, I was brought down to my knees by a series on evil things that I got myself into. Then one night, I got so depressed, and tried killing myself, but was unsuccessful (by GOD's divine providence) and cried out to GOD, "GOD, help me". And that very moment, I felt GOD's indescribable peace - the peace that passeth all understanding, and saw my old life pass away in the blink of an eye. And all things were brand new - 2 Corinthians 5:17, Philippians 4:7. And the next day, the LORD GOD sent a believer, a Pentecostal, to lead me to pray the sinner's prayer - to receive CHRIST JESUS as my LORD and SAVIOUR.

To fast forward, it was March 2019, and I was working two jobs - one at Federal Express as a package handler, and at Papa Johns as a pizza deliverer. And the infinite grace of the LORD GOD moved my heart (this by HIS tender mercies in CHRIST JESUS) to desire/yearn for the LORD's ministry, full-time. But I didn't know how I can do it seeing that I had two jobs (to pay for my rent and everything else). And yet the LORD GOD knew these things, and HE worked things out so I can go do the full-time ministry by getting a CHF (Congestive Heart Failure). I went to the hospital and was taken care of for a week, and got discharged n just the right time for me to collect disability and early retirement benefits - and go full-time in the evangelism ministry.

And in the months of November to December, 2021, and unto the new year, 2022, I am now in full-time ministry - gospel tracts distribution; MIT (Mission Impact Team) FO (Field Operation) about to do the FRONTIER PIONEERING at a 10/40 WINDOW nation sharing the gospel to the UUPG (Unengaged Unreached People Group).
